About Me

My Work

The album HOTMESS is the culmination of tales from Mike Messina's years traveling from Scranton, Pennsylvania, growing up going to punk shows, tripping face in Philadelphia, having too a good a time, finding and losing love, reflections of existential crisis, and recognizing human depression and the constant battle to staying out of the grave. It's a blend of folk music he grew up on to the high energy punk music that fuels his forward momentum. A first for Messina, and far from the last.
